"SOTWELL, a parish in the hundred of Moreton, county Berks, 2 miles N. of Wallingford, its post town. The village, which is of small extent, is situated near the river Thames, and is wholly agricultural. The living is a curacy annexed to the rectory of Wallingford, in the diocese of Oxford.
